Join Aspara Gus and his good buds The Vegetable Plot and Sydney Youth Orchestra for a journey into the magic garden of music and imagination.
Featuring fully orchestrated songs from The Vegetable Plot’s ARIA-nominated albums alongside symphonic favourites by the likes of Strauss and Tchaikovsky, this concert is an exciting and nutritious way to introduce curious young minds to the mysteries and delights of the orchestra.
Alongside The Vegetable Plot’s tasty melodies, sweet harmonies and thoroughly rotten jokes, children will learn about the different instruments in the orchestra and the amazing sounds they can make. They’ll even learn how a simple piece of asparagus can turn into a magic wand to help the musicians play louder or softer, or to keep them playing in time.
Accompanied by bespoke educational resources that will transport the music back into the classroom, this is an unmissable opportunity to plant seeds of creative inspiration that will blossom for a lifetime!
