Getting here by bike
There are bike racks in the courtyard in front of the Seymour.
Getting here by car
The closest secure car park is the Shepherd St multi-storey car park located on the corner of Cleveland St and Shepherd St.
Parking costs $4 per hour, up to a maximum charge of $24 for 24 hours, seven days a week. Shepherd St parking is pre-paid and the easiest way to manage your parking is through the Cello Park App or via the car park pay station.
Important notice: The Shepherd St car park is managed by the University of Sydney and can often be full during university semester times. Please call 02 9351 3336 or email the University Traffic and Parking Office for any additional information.
Limited free parking is available at the University of Sydney or in the surrounding streets. There are often multiple events occurring at Seymour Centre and the University of Sydney and parking can be busy during peak hours and on weekends. We suggest allowing enough time to find suitable parking prior to your event start time. The use of public transport is also highly recommended as the Shepherd St car park and surrounding areas are often full especially if you are attending a weekday matinee.
Mobility Support
There are three accessibility parking spaces close to Seymour on Maze Crescent, which are available on a first-come-first-served basis. For peace of mind, we recommend organising to be dropped off. There is a bus stop outside the Seymour on City Rd, with frequent services throughout the day. Visit Transport for NSW to plan your journey.
Getting here by train
The Seymour is a 10-minute walk from Redfern Station via Ivy St. From Central Station, it’s a 20-minute walk via Cleveland St. Visit Transport for NSW to plan your journey.
