Sydney Festival presents

Girls & Boys

5 - 15 Jan 2023

Past Event

They met in an airport, but it was sparks that flew. Raw passion turned into love. A relationship became a marriage. Kids and career followed. A perfect life – until it wasn’t.

From the award-winning British playwright Dennis Kelly (Osama the Hero, Matilda the Musical) comes this stunning solo high-wire act in which comedy and drama are breathtakingly balanced.

And who better than Justine Clarke, star of Play School and gripping dramas such as Tangle and Look Both Ways, to not only walk it but make us feel every tremor, every caught breath, every moment of profound terror.

Making its Sydney premiere after a sold-out season at the 2022 Adelaide Festival, this ticking time bomb of a production directed by Mitchell Butel flicks from Fleabag-like wit and mischief to harrowing shock in seconds.

Girls & Boys will bring you to the edge of your seat.

Please note: If any performances are marked 'sold out' on our website, tickets may still be available direct from Sydney Festival. Please check their website for availability.
