Are you sick of being able to conveniently download and listen to podcasts wherever you are, whenever you want? Would you prefer a podcast that requires you to go to a specific location, at a specific time, just to listen to it?
You’re in luck! Our market research has shown that people increasingly want the inconvenience of getting their podcasts in a live show setting, and so to meet that growing demand, in 2027, The Chaser Report will be recording its show in front of a live audience on the last Thursday of the month (except April).
Buy tickets now so you can be forced to travel all the way to the Seymour Centre to watch co-hosts Dominic Knight and Charles Firth offer the probing satirical insights into news, culture and Bluetooth technologies, along with occasional confessions of parenting, business and (increasingly) medical failures.
Each month, they’re joined by special guests and run an interactive Q&A session from the audience in a valiant attempt to make the experience extra interactive. Stick around after the event to enjoy the bar and music, courtesy of DJ Frayed Knot.
You can buy tickets to one show, or if you're fool-hardy, why not subscribe to the entire season? A subscription gets you tickets to all five shows for just $149 ($129 concession), and is a great (and affordable) way to lock in guaranteed entertainment for the first half of 2027.
Founded in 1799, The Chaser Report was the first podcast ever invented. Unfortunately, nobody listened to it for the first 200 years of so because the technology to listen to it hadn’t been invented yet. The show is hosted each day by two of the satirical comedy group’s co-founders, Charles Firth and Dominic Knight, along with occasional cameos from more talented, less available Chaser colleagues.
Dom Knight is the co-host of The Chaser Report podcast, which recently chalked up over nine million downloads, and is teaching at the University of Sydney while completing a PhD in media and communications there. He lives in Sydney with his wife, two daughters, and neuroses.
Charles Firth is co-host of The Chaser Report, and one half of the Wankernomics duo. In 2026, against the advice of his accountant, Charles uploaded his brain into an AI chatbot, and is now able to be downloaded onto your phone using the CharlesGPT app. He is currently under investigation for tax evasion.
