A MADSOC Major Production
Periphery is a meditation on what lies just beyond our sight, like the horizon at the edge of the world or the quiet vastness of the stars. It is often the unfrequented edge of one’s focus where the familiar dissolves into mystery.
It reminds us that the centre is not the only place of meaning; revelation often waits in the outer rim, where certainty fades into wonder.
Here, at the threshold between the known and the infinite, we are invited to listen, to look, and to explore the uncharted. What can we achieve if we embrace the periphery?
Over the course of the performance, dancers move along thresholds and borders, embodying the tension between centre and edge, the visible and the hidden, ultimately reminding us that wonder resides not just in what we see, but in what lies beyond.
