Seymour and La Boite Theatre coproduce
Offset
World premiere
"It's an insane amount of money."
A blown fuse. A 2am callout. A massive bill. And an unlikely spark between a real estate agent and an electrician.
In this whip-smart two-hander, an emergency house call brings together two people from opposite sides of the class divide. Is it attraction, or something else? As each tries to work out what the other really wants, a dream home purchase turns into something far more complicated.
Wickedly funny and quietly devastating, Offset is a psychological game of cat and mouse about class, connection and who really holds the power.
From Anchuli Felicia King, the acclaimed playwright behind White Pearl and Golden Shield.
