The Department of Education and The Arts Unit present
The HSC Dance Workshops are a second round of the popular 'Callback' workshops that were held at the Seymour Centre in conjunction with the showcase performances and are open to students who attend a NSW Public School. The workshops will focus on developing student knowledge and expectations of each practical component of the HSC dance course, including core performance, core composition and major study performance/ composition and film.
Workshops will be held from 10.00am - 4.00pm each day. To book a workshop please visit The Arts Unit website.
The day includes 4 workshops.
Students and their teachers are encouraged to attend the evening performance after the workshop.
- Q & A with the Callback performers
- Core Performance (practical and interview)
- Core Composition (practical and discussion)
- Major Study Performance or Composition/Film (students will nominate a preference of Major Study Performance or Major study comp/film)
