Updated 15 May 2026
These SMS Messaging Terms of Use apply to visitors and ticket holders of the Seymour Centre performing arts venue who elect to receive SMS communications.
Purpose of SMS Communications
The Seymour Centre uses SMS messaging services to provide ticket holders with essential event information, which may include:
- Key ticketing details relating to your booked performance
- Updates to events, including changes to show times
- Urgent notifications, such as cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, production issues, crew illness, or security matters)
General
By opting in to receive SMS messages, you consent to receiving recurring automated informational and marketing text messages from the Seymour Centre. Messages may be sent using an automated telephone dialing system to the mobile number you provided, or to any number you later designate.
Message frequency may vary. Additional messages may be sent depending on your interactions with the Seymour Centre. We may change the frequency of messages, the number used to send messages, or the alphanumeric sender ID at any time.
Standard message and data rates may apply. Please contact your mobile service provider for information about your plan. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and not a condition of purchasing tickets.

The Seymour Centre is not responsible for delayed, missing, or undelivered messages resulting from mobile carrier or internet connection issues.

Each message will include instructions on how to unsubscribe, either by replying STOP or by clicking an included link (if provided).
Once you unsubscribe, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. To resume SMS communications, you may opt in again through the original sign‑up process.
