HAZARD IDENTIFICATION RESOLUTION PROCEDURE
In accordance with OH&S WHS Legislation an employer has a responsibility to provide and maintain so far as is practicable for employees a working environment that is safe and without risks to health. Similarly, all employees have a responsibility to take reasonable care for his or her own health and safety and for the health & safety of anyone else who may be affected by his or her acts or omissions at the workplace.
As such the Seymour Centre encourages the identification and reporting of workplace hazards or incidents. A hazard can be identified at any time, by anyone. Once identified, the risk must be assessed (see Appendix A in document) and controlled in line with the hierarchy of controls (see Appendix B in document).
