Artistic Director

As the Seymour Centre turns 50, we’re seeking an Artistic Director to bring fresh creative energy to develop an inclusive, dynamic program that resonates across Sydney.

This role is central to defining and delivering the Seymour Centre’s artistic vision, with a strong focus on music and performance. The Artistic Director will curate high-quality programming that aligns with the Centre’s mission, engages diverse audiences, and strengthens its reputation as a leading cultural institution. 

The role will require a particular focus on artistic planning, program curation, and education programming, as well as developing relationships with artists, the sector, and government.

Archivist

We are seeking an Archivist to preserve and celebrate our rich artistic heritage. In this role, you will delve into the past—sorting through old photographs of our very first performers, reading notes left behind by actors, and weaving together the history that makes the Seymour Centre a cornerstone of the arts.

If you have a keen eye for detail, a love for storytelling, and a dedication to preserving theatrical history, we’d love to hear from you.
