Her new single "We Don’t Need To Both Be Right" – co-produced with Nick Zaharias (MAY-A, The Buoys) and Bec herself – is the third single from her upcoming album Happy Futures.
She’s supported Mitski, St. Vincent, Tegan and Sara, Ladyhawke, Kimbra, Yungblud; played Reeperbahn, World Pride, Falls Festival; and appeared on The L Word, Q+A, and at Sydney Opera House. Sandridge’s bold blend of theatre, fuzz pedals, and queer angst earned her Triple J rotation, an ISC finalist nod, and a sold-out 2024 Great Southern Nights show—the first in the series to do so. “Cub is a diamond forged under pressure and if this were the only thing I ever made, I’d still go out proud and fulfilled. Like most songwriters, I turn life’s highs and lows—the beautiful and the brutal—into something I hope resonates with others too. I wanted to create something fun and joyful, even as it deals with complicated feelings—regret, loss, shame, guilt, fear, and love. In true Lady Lyon style, I wrapped those emotions in upbeat melodies and catchy riffs, and the band gave them bite.” - Hayley Lyon
