Rhiaan Marquez began her work in theatre during her teenage years, first playing one of the title roles in Steel Magnolias, and then playing in other classics including The Wizard Of Oz and South Pacific.
Having decided to continue down the rabbit hole that is the performing arts, Rhiaan was accepted to study acting at the Academy of Film Television and Theatre (AFTT). During her time at AFTT, Rhiaan continued to hone her skills and appeared in two Downstairs Belvoir shows.
Since finishing her studies in 2017, Rhiaan has worked tirelessly to better her craft by exposing herself to as much industry work as possible, working as an extra on feature films and TV shows, and performing on stage.
In 2020, Rhiaan was nominated for Best Actress at the prestigious Made in the West Film Festival for her role as Sasha in the award-winning short film, Hollow Hands. 2020 also saw Rhiaan making her feature film debut in SweetHurt.
Rhiaan's most recent role was as Monty in the debut stage play, Too Human, directed by Sammy Jing and written by Michael McStay.
