Stage Manager, Heroes of the Fourth Turning

Matt Giles is a recent graduate from the Australian Institute of Music, where he completed a Bachelor of Performance: Dramatic Arts.

His most notable acting credits include Waiting for Godot (2020), directed by Dr David Fenton, in which Matt played Estragon, and As You Like It (2019), directed by Peta Downes, in which Matt played Orlando.

His creative credits include fulfilling the role of production manager for Carol Churchill’s play Love and Information (2020), directed by Danielle Maas. He was also the stage manager for both The Boys, directed by Peta Downes, and Picnic at Hanging Rock, directed by Dr David Fenton, in 2019.

He is one of the main founders and creator of Echo Theatre Company, which is currently in the process of rebranding and creating new works.

Heroes of the Fourth Turning is Matt’s second production with Outhouse Theatre Co, and he is both excited and honoured to be working as stage manager.
