Gaby Whalland
Stage Manager, The Face of Jizo
Gaby is an emerging Stage, Production, and Technical Manager based in Sydney, passionate about creating meaningful and accessible theatre. Currently completing a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Media at UNSW, Gaby combines academic insight with hands-on experience to support innovative and collaborative performance-making. She thrives in community-driven environments and values working closely with friends and creatives to tell impactful stories on stage.
Gaby’s recent production credits include Little Bozu and Kon Kon (Omusubi Productions), Ordinary Days, Little
Women, Seussical, and Beautiful Things (CODA), as well as Drunk Shakespeare: Macbeth and Prickly Love with NUTS at UNSW and a plethora of other student productions. Her work spans a variety of roles across stage management, technical operation, and production coordination, reflecting her versatility and strong understanding of live performance environments. Beyond theatre productions, Gaby is active across Sydney’s performing arts scene as a venue technician, teacher, and event coordinator and is always looking to expand her skillset and experience.
