In the heat of the shortest night of the year, young lovers and work-a-day dreamers plunge into a world between sleep and waking, where “everything seems double”. One of Shakespeare’s truly essential works, ‘Dream’ warns us that family, love and friendship are fragile.

 

With an eye to originality and freshness, along with great faith to the text, this beautiful production will surprise and delight in equal measure.

EDUCATION INFORMATION

Tickets: School groups $28 (one teacher free per 20 students, additional teachers at student price)

 

Suitable: Years 7 – 12 (Stage 4 – 6 HSC)

 

Q&A: 15 mins following each weekday matinee. Led by Director, Damien Ryan

 

Resources: Full teaching resources including lesson activities will be available for all bookings.

 

HSC Symposium: A live analytical and specifically curriculum-based workshop on the play is available to expand your theatre experience. The Symposiums are run by Damien Ryan and feature live scenes and discussions with the cast.
