Music Beyond Boundaries

An Andalus Arabic Choir Concert

14 Nov 2025

Join us in celebrating the extraordinary life of Ziad Rahbani through his inspiring music and timeless songs. His compositions evoke an immediate captivating pull that just astounds you. An icon of Middle Eastern 20th century music whose influence remains unmatched.

Ziad was a groundbreaking phenomenon, a rebellious, a genius and musical maverick whose daring voice and revolutionary melodies transcended borders, creating a stage without limits. His sound defies boundaries, ensuring his legacy endures.

Blending satire with song, wit with subversion, nostalgia with provocation, Ziad attracted audiences of all ages, faiths and backgrounds including critics and politicians alike.

“Ziad Rahbani: Music beyond boundaries” is our tribute concert to his vivid artistry unrivalled. The program features a curated selection of his songs, reflecting Lebanon’s cultural and historical moments, a unique era - timeless yet still relevant today. His influence extends across Arab nations and the diaspora.

From the classical Andalusian tune to songs that flirt with Gallic chanson, from soulful oriental jazz to lively samba rhythms, each piece concludes with a distinctly Ziad twist. His music shifts from serenity to intensity, plunging listeners into deep saudade before lifting them into pure joy. Such is the profound power of Ziad Rahbani’s music.
