Henry Lopez
Cast
Henry Lopez Lopez (he/him) is a Colombian Australian actor with a Bachelor of Dramatic Arts from Excelsia College. After completing his degree, he then continued developing his craft in California where he studied at the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory specialising in the Meisner Technique. Henry is also a passionate theatre maker with a particular focus on writing, directing, physical theatre and singing. Earlier this year he partook in the Short + Sweet festival where his play won the awards for 'Best Play' and 'Best Director' in the festival.
He co-founded Luminar Theatre Company with his partner and just finished their debut production. Luminar champions heartfelt, resonant theatre stories that connect us, movie us and remind us of what it means to be human. Henry plans to direct a LatinX play in the near future with the company and empower his community and BIPOC artists to continue to have opportunities in the arts.
His recent credits include SAMSON (Luminar Theatre Company) BUMP XMAS (Roadshow Rough Diamond, 2025), Short + Sweet Festival (2025) WIFE (New Theatre, 2024), In the Heights (PACA, 2024).
