Faith Chaza

Lucy/Lou

Faith Chaza is a writer, musician, and sound artist living and working on Gadigal, Wangal, and Burramattagal lands known as Sydney and Parramatta.

Born in Zimbabwe, raised in Botswana, and shaped by formative years in South Africa, Faith’s practice weaves together prose, music, and experimental sound to explore shifting notions of identity, the inexactness of memory, and how these affect the ways we tell, hear, and share our stories.

They’ve performed at Sydney Writers’ Festival, Wollongong Writers’ Festival, and the Festival of Dangerous Ideas, collaborating with collectives including The Finishing School and New Age Noise.
