2012 Reginald Season
An eclectic, provocative and inventive, featuring dance, comedy, music and drama by some of Australia's most exciting theatre companies and artists.
Reginald Season One was eclectic, provocative, inventive and, according to Sydney theatre blogger Augusta Supple, wonderfully diverse and robust. Not a bad start. I’m very pleased to keep expanding the vision with an equally dynamic Season Two.
This year our five show season features four Australian works and draws together dance, comedy, music and drama. Dive into the World Premiere of renowned choreographer Sue Healey’s latest new work, comic Damian Callinan’s brilliant, warm and very funny ode to rural Australia, a Kate Gaul directed Sydney premiere of an Off-Broadway music kaleidoscope, Deborah Thomson’s stand out theatre gem from the Sydney Fringe and a fresh Adelaidian spin on a riveting drama by Aussie writer Daniel Keene. Check out the season trailer here.
Thanks to all who’ve embraced Reg thus far: Arts NSW, the University of Sydney, the many companies and individuals who lined up to be a part of the program and our audiences, the ever-growing ‘Friends of Reg’.
