The Sound of Burning Water is an excursion to the cutting edge of percussive performance.

Claire Edwardes performs seminal solo works by Iannis Xenakis and Steve Reich, a visually arresting piece for maracas by Javier Álvarez and two Australian compositions, including a new work by electro acoustic artists Thomas William and Marcus Whale (aka Scissor Lock).
