Bard To The Bone
Sydney Comedy Festival and The Post-Haste Players present

Bard to the Bone

9 - 11 May

"Bard to the Bone is accessible, impressive, bitingly clever and just bloody hilarious!"

Damien Ryan, Sport for Jove Theatre

Over Othello? Had it with Hamlet? Then Bard To The Bone is the show for you. So join us, as we create the plays Shakespeare wishes he’d written.

Bard to the Bone is a fast paced and furiously funny 50-minute improvised Shakespearean play from impro-comedians The Post- Haste Players.

First performed at The Roxbury Festival of Awesome Impro, Bard To The Bone has wowed audiences at The Leura Shakespeare Festival and The Sydney Fringe Festival and in returns for the 2013 Sydney Comedy Festival with a unique style of Shakespearean silliness!

Staring some of Australia’s most renowned impro-comics, including Oliver Burton, Ewan Campbell, Bridie Connell, Michael Gregory & Jon Williams.

Using just one piece of information from the audience, the cast create an original, (reasonably) coherent play using the style and language of William Shakespeare!

It’s a completely different – and hilariously funny – show every night.
